Three States of Matter
Three sisters try their best to live in a rapidly shrinking world in Three States of Matter, a devised movement adaptation of Three Sisters exploring climate migration and immobility.
Originally written and set at the turn of the 20th century of a Russia less than a decade away from revolution, Three Sisters explores questions of how to find meaning in everyday life within shifting and uncertain landscapes. Our modern-day, movement-based rendition places the Prozorovs in a landscape of coastal flooding, where the world is literally shrinking under their feet. Run time: 65min
